I won't be surprised if the price blast past $780 closer to 21 Dec. The scenario is perfect for the big boys to take advantage of the index funds buying.

That means 50b increase of current 560b market cap.

My understanding of the inclusion into index is limited but:

At the time where the ETF (tracking the index) actually buys the stock, won't that be the actual moment that the price increases? Because the ETF is essentially buying it at "market price" at that point.

On that basis, I'm not sure if it is already "priced in" at this point or if people are just bidding up the price so that when the ETF actually buys it (no matter the price), it would then go up some more.
