He was able to short the MBS, granted it's value didn't explode upwards at 5-10% daily.

Tesla is a whole different monster, won't be surprised if this bankrupts shorts.

Markets can always be more irrational than shorts can stay solvent. When the stimulus bill passes, it won't be surprising if tesla moves up another 50% in the next year.

Yes, Tesla may keep going up. Since it is now my single largest holding, I will sell some into strength so as to maintain balance in my portfolio.

as much as i appreciate the crazy capital gains, it's amazing how irrational the market is. somehow this bubble should pop one day and stabilize at 500ish?

Many here, including me know Tesla extremely overvalued and maybe in bubble territory. But I don't want to sell because I'm greedy and FOMO!! Probably will let go once it crosses $700. Paper profits are good... but cash in the bank is even better!
