Wow what a great dump and pump back within 15mins
Monday red???
Probably red. From the numbers, index funds have almost finished buying. And sellers hv still not finished selling.
Other than index funds, who is going to buy Tesla shares at close to $700 for the long term?
Tesla has run up from $280 to $700 on 2 events. The first is that Tesla split its shares 5 to 1 and drove its shares from $280 to $500. Pulled back to $410 and then S&P inclusion drove it from $410 to $700.
Neither of these 2 events increased the intrinsic value of Tesla nor did it improve its business prospects.
I really like Tesla as a business and would be happy to hold it long term but its price is just too frothy for me.
Post trading volume:54.8M .
does this mean all index funds have purchased the required shares?
Next Monday, first 10 minutes trading period will still be volatile.

There are so many self professed gurus and experts with supposed million dollar accounts. Yet no one managed to come up with the correct trading plan on how to execute the commonly held idea that Tesla might surge on the market close before insertion.
Here's what you should have done.
You believe that the Tesla stock price will surge on the market close due to buying from the S&P funds. You of course do not know how much it will surge. You watch the market until 23:00 and observe that the highest price it traded was 484.66. This is good but you believe it can go higher still. You worry that if you put in 700.00, the price might not get there and you end up holding unwanted shares.
You open up your Interactive Brokers account and issue a LOC Sell XX@484.66. You wake up 8 hours later and find that because of that last minute spike, you got filled at 491.00.
If you are using a primitive Singapore broker who doesn't offer LOC, I strongly recommend upgrading to one which does.
On the other hand if you are using an advanced broker that offers LOC but you didn't know what it was ...
Lol. Many people think they are gurus.
Just woke up from my beauty sleep
To find out that my sell order at $700 is not filled
And my buy order at $500 also not filled
And looking at the price action, looks like Tesla could easily go below $600 on Monday or Tuesday
Maybe even hit $500
