Years ago, replace in your statement: Apple with Tesla, and Tesla with Toyota/VW/EV. I am sure you will consider it that Tesla can deliver now right?

Years ago, Tesla is still a new bird working on the next Gen car and challenging the incumbents (using old technology, manufacturing techniques - hybrid etc). Now Apple is coming to challenge Tesla. Which I know many people are looking forward to their technology. But:

(1) Tesla technology is not old mah. So I believe market is big enough for both

(2) Apple usually price their product 3-4x. So if you cannot afford a Maserati/ Bentley today, forget about owning an Apple car

(3) Furthermore, the accessories may kill u. 1 tyre probably cost 4 times. Doesn’t comes with display. U need to either buy 11” or 12.9” iPad Pro to install as display. Battery subscription likely higher than Nio.

(4) Every 5 years u firmware cannot update. Lol! Need to change battery etc

(5) Apple ecosystem. I think they are probably a threat to NIO more than Tesla based on their own business model

Starlink is currently launching a satellite-based internet solution that aims to service the internet to rural customers or those out of reach of land-based internet connections. The Boring Company looks to dig tunnels underground to alleviate traffic congestion.

When Tesla investor Dave Lee suggested to Musk to form a holding company called X, that would work as a parent company for Musk's many ventures, Musk seemed intrigued.

Initially was very keen on this idea.. but after thinking spacex will add alot of risk to the company what if a mission fail/rocket crash..

Will be better for Spacex to ipo separately.. will definitely hold some Spacex but not keen in the holding company..

I think space travel is still years away.. Starlink itself will be a better near term focus..

X will merge all elon musk companies.. I think it will be similar to how google create a separate holding company Alphabet..
