I need to sell the shares away at $900 when now it's $1080, and options = 100 shares, so technically "lost" $18000 gains.

Hey similar strategy! Just that I sell really far otm CCs for a small premium (no balls). E.g. this week I sold at 1.2k strike for around $100 per contract.

Yes, I sell even when iv is low. But I do this only because my timing sucks lol.
