Testing for travel to China

Is there still a need to do Covid testing for travel to China after the recent opening up to Singaporeans on the 26th July 2023 ?

No, just back from China in Jun, they don't check now.

The Chinese just announced yesterday that they are dropping all Covid-19 testing requirements for inbound travellers from tomorrow.
