u will get yourself and others into trouble by asking for the content of the test.

I had a phone interview yesterday morning by Citibank in CC Track.

I am actually quite worried about this part where they will ask technical questions, given that we are not suppose to have any background in the various track as a prerequisite. I am not sure if i am able to answer questions technical in nature beyond those that are more broad based.

Between i see many bros here, applying and getting interviewed at FIs. Anyone got a interview with AIA? i have one scheduled next week.

All the best Dalias! Dun worry too much about it. The Hiring Managers should well be made aware that the prerequisite doesn't include prior working experiences on that particular track you applied for. Just do your best & answer with your best honesty. Take this 1 week you have & do some thorough revision on the topic. Jia you!

i feel the questions are yes technical but not that hard and more general type of technical questions. believe most who have IT background or IT degree or diploma will know 50% of them (but then there are people with non IT background applying).

sometimes also prefer to get broader technical type of questions than those lame interview questions like what are your greatest strengths and weaknesses.. haha

Thanks guys for the useful info and the very kind words. I am aware some of you are also unemployed, and have been fighting very hard to get on this track as well.

i was almost made redundant by my current FI, but managed to stay on as i managed to get a transfer in time before the deadline of them kicking me out. (my entire team got made redundant due to hubbing of the function to a cheaper location, no surprises where). Ironically the function was IT related, where we serve as the product owner cum Business analyst for a software purchase onboarded into the FI from external vendor.

I can tell you that you are right. Most of the Hiring manager that i met for internal interviews while fighting to stay in the FI, did not want anything less than a 100% fit, citing they don't have time to train you etc. Not even 70% fit. It was really sad.

Best of luck to all, and maybe we will get in together somehow.
