Just booked my flight tickets to Tokyo with credit card. Amount was $903 but credit card statement is $930+! Why like this? Is it some credit card charge? Can anyone advise? Thank u

I faced the same thing. Booked direct from TG site to BKK got charged for some admin charge. Credit card firm says is charge by Thai Airways. Seems the TG site is based in Thailand and they charge admin charges when SG card is used.

my booking in Feb17 only kena 0.8% extra bank charges using VISA.

hope TS can clarify with bank or TG & update

IMO, if it is TG Admin Fee, it should be shown at the Payment page, not after Authorisation.

Actually when you place a booking via thai airways website, there is a pop up: note: you are transacting on a website where merchant is based in Thailand. Please note that credir card issuing bank may charge you transaction and/ or foreign exchange fees, depending on the country of departure or currency of your card.

I also got charge extra on my cc bill than what on payment total on thai airways website

agree. the note says CC bank may charge.

that said, 3% difference is a lot for CC / banks charges on TG SG site. My difference was 0.8%.

but if CC Bank says it's charged by TG as mentioned by victoryeo, then something is not right.

i made a refund and was charge 1% conversion fees too...
which is $20

I called UOB before and was told that for Visa there's 0.8% charges beside exchange rate.
Eg. Hotel.com, booking is $100 and after payment sms is also $100.
But when statement came, its $100.80.

As for Thai Airways, I book 2 adult + 1 Child for $1170.20 and after payment sms also $1170.20.
Statement came is $1181.90, differences is slightly higher than 0.8% but not as huge as TS amount.
