Any recommendation for good Thai food, other than Nakhorn Thai and Jai Thai in Purvis St?

The Thai 5 restaurant next to Jai Thai at Purvis St is gone. I prefer their food to Jai Thai. Anyone knows where they have gone to?

Agree! I visit NangFa frequently too, and not to mention that Nakhon is definitely worth the try as well! Both sell rather affordable food!

No one goes to Golden Mile? To me, it's cheap and as authentic as it can be. There are a few good ones there. Go during lunch time because evening time, the mookata crowd is

Last time used to go siam kitchen. Their Tom yum talay pour on pineapple rice si bei tok Kong. Very thick broth. Deep fried boneless garopa like nugget. Missed that. Beef kway tiao. Gai yang. Black olive rice. Tod mum goong, hok mok. Tagoh dessert. Thai ice tea. Poo ja. Poo woonsen.

Thai ice tea. Gao gao Thai condensed milk into Lipton tea.

Now some place a bit crappy.

yeah, siam kitchen! when & why it disappeared islandwide?
some of the items are quite good and value for money!

Din dian and another shop right behind at Golden Mile Tower
Hom Aroy at Toa Payoh lor 7
A stall at aljunied crescent FC (not much varieties though but I like their Thai fried rice and chilli sauce)
