Thai lion air baggage

Hi all,
How strict is the baggage check for this air line.

The measure 40x30x20 .. is a must rule slightly bigger will there be any issue for carry in ?

As my ticket had no check in bag And if I purchase the addition 5kg add on. The luggage with this add on is for check in or carry on to the plane?

The add on is for check in. Usually they are quite strict with carry on especially when the load is full. And lion air flight if not wrong is bus gate
