My comment on Thai Lion Air is GOOD, new plane and the surprised was spacious for the leg room.Air stewardess were young and pretty even at the check-in counter.

DM airport custom clearance both arrival and departure were fast (surprises me).

yup, some of their sin to bkk route, they have used a330-900 (3x3x3 seat layout), instead of the usual boeing 737 smaller aircraft (3x3 seat layout)

pricing is reasonable ... for more competitive pricing, jetstar usually have a better promo ... for $112, you can fly on public holidays itself ... and school holidays (thu to sun, fri to sun), all timings selected travel dates ...

but jetstar's timing generally not so good.

Generally I find Jetstar prices and timings good.
I prefer their 1045am flight departs on thu or 7+pm on Friday evening
Bkk to sin is 1250pm or 1335pm . Have more time to rest on that day
If you prefer to shop longer can fly their 920pm flight

The add-on luggage for Thai Lion Air seems more expensive. But you get to buy on a per-kg basis and need not be 15/20/25kg etc.

Last few years, when doing renewal, they did issue $40 voucher to me
so now no sales, not worth to join ...
best to join when they are going to have sales ...

For sign up, you would have to check with them ...

Last year in Nov they didn't check oversized and overweight of my carry-on. However they got check other passengers and insisted that they check in their baggage. Quite a lot of arguing and shouting at DMK.
