As for my personal comments about the temperature, I feel that it is not as hot as Z1 achieved.

Like I mentioned before I am not really a phone camera person so haven't tried whether willit get so hot that the camera app will force quit like what happened t the Z1.

All I can say is with continuous Candy Crush Sodaing and Clashing of Clans for more than half an hour, I don't find it uncomfortable. Yet.

Battery wise, the phone claimed that it could survive 1 day plus, but my heavy usage busted its myth. Still, I will give it time as SONY smartphone battery life tend to get better after a couple of weeks.

Left Z3+, Right Z5. Both taken on superior auto mode 8MP. I took a 23MP shot as well, but that one looks worse than the 8MP in terms of details. The Z5 still has more details for sure when zoomed in, but when you look even closer, DAT image processing. :/ Though this is just pixel peeping, the low light shots definitely loses out to S6 and G4.

in other words, the Z5 is hyped as the best camera smartphone but don't really deliver.

i think i will go for the Z3+ as i am not really a camera enthusiast. furthermore, the specs are almost identical except for fingerprint sensor. and cheaper.

Heavy usage will always deplete the battery faster in any phones.

So we can conclude that your screen on time and games or apps takes the top places in battery usage, compared to standby time.

It would be nice to know your battery usage.

I wonder why people always use phone cameras to take landscape pictures and scrutinize every little details.

Every little victory of one phone over another is only a trivia improvement of details, the overall picture still pales in comparison to the result of dedicated cameras.
Too much details lost, with more distance gained.

I would recommend using phone cameras to take short distance pictures for better comparison.

but it is logic ma

if u play game that take up the cpu and gpu usage..
anyphone also will drain batter lar..
even Samsung note with massive battery also drain faster than expected

Sony battery benchmark is on normal usage where their battery management allow u to save battery usage
hence they can fit everything into a slim profile but you still can use ur normally

Camera is good, but to me still not as good as Sammy or LG though. The camera UI pulls it down a lot. they need to push out the new UI as soon as they can. Like the processing after each shot taken. Sometimes after it's done i click to see the photo, it will be black screen for like 1-3 seconds then the photo come up. -_-

Images tend to be on the cooler side a little, but looks more natural.

The hardware match up, it's always the software side for Sony. It's like a ferrari without a good driver.

The night pic is a joke, Sony trademark smearing processing. The on screen white balance slider is not available yet?
