Search for Jimmy. Ask for his clear silicone casings. :D

Or go to Sony 313

how's jimmy's silicon casings like for z5? i generally avoid those soft casing because they're rather thick and cheap looking...

and is there a need to do back protection since it's matte?

Compared to my Note 3, the Z5 does feel faster and more fluid as compared to the laggy Note 3. Guess the Touchwiz UI really overloaded with bloatware in some ways. How I wish I can uninstall them (esp the voice thingie) but not going to root the phone though.

where did most of you guys buy your z5?

Singtel :V

hows the z5 so far?
how u guys find the build quality compared to s6

Phone feels okay, witht he exception the edges feel abit "sharp" Screen is very usable outdoors. Camera excels in good lighting condition but quality quickly drops when in doors or darker conditions. Battery seems to be typical smartphone meaning not more than a day, granted I might be a pretty heavy user(phone gets warm onced i start using it/screen on). Build quality is comparable to the S6, with the abck being better in resisting finger prints due to it being frosted. Slippery tho. Charging seems pretty fast too (without QC 2.0) phone only gets uncomfortably hot when updating multiple apps and warm after running the camera for a while. The phone is mosdtly smooth and responsive with exceptions like when i clear all the apps running through the multitasking button, or some random hickups during normal usage. they happen sporadically.

Actually coming to the camera, if you use 8MP (not sure why it is locked at this resolution), you can play with the ISO, I put ISO 400 to take night shots, it turned out well. But the Auto (Superior Auto), it seems to make the night shots look like watercolors. This issue also occurred in their compact cameras when you use that mode. I think its just too aggressive in the noise reduction algorithms. Hopefully they will release the camera update which was mentioned before by Sony and fix this issue and allow users to adjust the ISO when it is at 20MP and not at 8MP.

Where is Jimmy's shop? Or this is a COD kind of arrangements?

He does not have any shop. But you could arrange for meetings for him to apply the SP if you like.

Google mobilelite to find his website.

No protective casing?

I did buy a slim titanium backing case at the same day, but it made my Sumire fatter and heavier.

So only made her wear a pair of underwear lor.
Think it still kinda helped abit.

Never leave your phone naked

Dear all, any recommendations on where to get a rugged casing for the Z5? I have been using those thick phones and can't really get use to the thin Z5. I worry it might drop and break cos its so light. I have checked with the local stores but seems like Z5 is either too new or they are not keen to bring in cases for it.

the SONY store at 313@Somerset is selling at least 4 different kinds of casings and flip jackets.

Don't hold your breath for much 3rd party casings for Xperias. Normally not much cos those casing makers only concentrate on iamalamePHONE and Galactica models.

You'll have better luck finding in Japan cos the support for Xperia accessories are more favorable.

I still remember last time Hush fly to Japan to by casings for Xperia S. Hehe.

Even my neighborhood cellphone shop has a lot of casings for Z3, Z3+, M5, C5, C4 and M4, M2 and T2 Ultra. $10 each.

It would be nice if you share with us where, cos I am really frustrated at the lack of Xperia casings.

Everytime see so many nice nice ones like Stitch, Iron Man chest armor etc, but sadly none for Xperias :(:(:(
