Hi,

Someone know how does stamina mode works? I've tried to turn and tweak some options. 1 option can turn off your wifi and data if your screen is off but you can add app that can run in the background. If I add application in the exempted app (like Viber) will it turn off wifi or data?

Tried it but seems like it did not turn off the wifi but totally no message receives in the phone but my viber desktop keeps receiving message. Is that how it works? :s11:

I've set my Z5 to stamina mode for entire 24 hours. Followings are what I observed.

Enabled Extended Standby (i.e. disables wifi and data when screen is off) and it provides an option to whitelist (i.e. apps active in standby) certain apps. Apps that are being whitelisted will remain active and consumes wifi/data when screen if off. I can received Whatsapp msg and company email since I whitelisted them.

Other apps that are not whitelisted (e.g. Q0010), I received their notification a few seconds after I unlock my phone.

I've not use viber message before hence can't provide u the details. Maybe you can experiment whitelisting your email accounts, then send yourself a few emails to try things out. :)

Yes, that's how it works. Basically, the "Apps active in standby" list which you have included Viber, will be in the exemption list. That is, all other apps will not be using data / Wifi. Only the ones you've included in the "Apps active in standby" list will continue to do so, hence Viber messages are coming through for you.

Any good deals at Sitex for z5? Saw from online brochures that m1 is giving a goodie bag instead of the standard memory card, anyone know what it includes?

You might want to 'burn in' the speakers. Initially I feel mine was soft, but after using the FF speakers for a week or so, it does sounds louder than the first time I used it.

Relating to speaker volume, is the volume for music playing the same as when you are taking a call?
I hope the volume when hearing over the phone is not too soft, I am a little hard of hearing.

My right hearing is quite bad and I can hear very clearly. The volume I am not sure as I see the same icon coming out when I adjust. Not like Samsung one which you will know if it is for the phone or for media. Anyway the volume I personally feel is loud enough.

I compare the speakers on this phone and my Samsung Tab S (but side firing stereo speakers), both are equally loud if you increase the volume up to 90% level. I listen to only Jazz, pop and rock music. So its loud enough. Most probably bass heads will feel that it lacks the bass and loudness. But with the headset on, everything changes.

I don't know about the Z5 but my Z5P does not feel as warm as my Z3+. The dual heat pipes on the Z5P (as well as the Z5) does help.
