Same problem here. Can sense the vibration is finger print accepted but still required pin.

I did a factory reset but it doesn't solve the problem. Looks like we have to wait for an update

not sure if it's the same.
for mine, if the phone autolock or via power button, i can unlock using fingerprint but if i locked the phone manually via 3rd party app/widget, fingerprint unlock will not work, need to manually key in pin/pattern.

in lollipop no such issue.
got pple complain in the sony forums too.

Just now before I see your reply, I sometimes also can unlock using Fingerprint.
After seeing your reply I finally know why. Just tried it again letting it auto off screen and off using the on/off button and unlock again using Fingerprint and it works. If off screen using widget and try unlock using fingerprint cannot.

If this is the case, it is some bug causing this. Whether it's the app, mm or sony, I'm not sure though

hi, after i updated my phone to latest firmware, my z5 doesn't output sound to my earphones. anybody facing same issue?

The new firmware upgrade certainly makes my battery life much better. Without battery saver, it can last slightly over 4hrs of screen time

I'm using the app called Screen Lock Pro by Prahallad.
It works but the only thing is that you need to wait ard 5 secs for the screen to be fully locked even after screen is off. So far this is the only non-root app that works for Marshmallow.

You may try charging with another cable to test whether it is your phone or cable having the problem.

Sony Xperia Z5!

Just hooted a gold one today, as the green one seems to be OOS everywhere.

Despite many reviews and users not favouring Sony, I love their phones for the minimalist and clean look. Samsung fails badly in the aesthetic department in my opinion, and contains too much bloatware.

Would have gone for iPhone if I weren't an Android user.

Was actually aiming for the $0 recontract M5 or C5 Ultra but both not available, staff told me they aren't bringing in new stock cos Sony models hard to sell. :/ So I just yolo-ed and whacked the Z5.

Any users here? Come share your experience!

The gold is a rather dull gold, not those super shiny one. Opted that over the black haha.

Yeah the Green Z5 is a very unique color to Sony and it's good-looking color but seems popular that it went OOS
Silver(or Chrome) Z5P looks nice but it's a fingerprint magnet. Can be as a mirror too haha

Got pictures of the Gold? I don't prefer gold-colored phones but if Sony did their Gold color not that bling but still nice-looking then maybe getting it. Sony's aesthetic really nice and minimalistic, that I must agree!
