I went to Sim Lim Square, I can hardly find any AM4 boards now. I went to ask around every shop. Mostly no longer in stock and only those uncleared stock low end older AM4 boards. But there are plenty of AM5 boards.

Options on Shopee still looks pretty normal to me: I see my backup board (in case of X570SI Aorus doing the big die unexpectedly) still available from Corbell

Haha, just bought this one based on Ryzen 5600G from Dynacore (InvaderPC), basically the lowest end from Invader PC offerings. Mainly used as a Linux desktop. I will add a PCI-E 5G NIC and a 10G SFP+ NIC later.
https://www.invaderpc.com/product/specm01/

AMD RYZEN 5 5600G 3.9GHz 6CORE/12THREAD APU
ASUS PRIME B550M-A WIFI II AX ARGB

Even though it is a low end system, but still much faster than my Intel N100 based mini PCs, which are actually pretty fast too when running Linux or BSDs. Intel N100 mini PC can even run Windows 11 if you just do simple work.

I used three Intel N100 based mini PCs for my mini home lab.

Is AMD Ryzen 5000 series getting obsolete? I have people telling me I need to upgrade my PC cause I am using Ryzen 7 5700X even though I've only built it last year.
Nah it is fine. Next upgrade will be years later or when the cpu start to bottom neck your gpu in gaming

Is Ryzen 5000 series obsolete? I think we can see for ourselves that it isn't. The top seller in AMZ are all AMD processor, be it zen 3, 4 or 5.

i just disable pbo then - 10volt...
its a gigabyte mb.. so its -10
hmm.. -10volt ? mind if I ask which setting did you set to -10volt? I don't thing Vcore can set to -10v. maybe -0.1v or -0.05v.

hmm maybe these settings will be able to aid you.
  1. First clear cmos to default settings
  2. only enable XMP profile for your rams
  3. boot to windows, run cinebench (ingle or multi) in HWInfo64, take down the temperature readings of your CPU, The clock frequency, including the boost clock.
Reboot to UFEI then do this.
  1. look for advance overclocking
  2. Enable Preceision Boost Overdrive and set to Advanced
  3. Leave PBO Limits to Auto
  4. Click on Curve Opitmizer
  5. Set Curve Opitmizer to All Cores
  6. Set All Core Cuver Optimizer Sign to Negative (Please make sure this is negative)
  7. Set All Core Curve Optimizer Magnitude to 20
boot to windows and run cinebench, single or multiple. In HWinfo, watch for the temperature and open up all cores to see the clock frequency, you should be able to see the boost clock speed.

Compare default vs the setting above.. best to run either OCCT or Prime95 for stability, if you using Cinebench. after 30 minutes and 10 minutes test, go play some games and such. just make sure system stable. If unstable go back to UEFI and reduce the Core Curve Optimizer Magnitude from 20 to 15 ±.

If you feel your system can do more. for the Core Curve Opimizer Magnitude, increase to 25± ~ 30. But for personal recommendation. I will leave it 20, leaving 10 for system to buffer with the current (Power)

In HWinfo there are section where is says current , min , max and avg. look at max. What frequency is that? That will be your boost clock which is 4441mhz and please note that max boost will only occured a short period of time. Not always.
