Initial Impressions
• Feature packed for a compact mobo, fantastic!
• Good onboard components
• Loads of storage options
• Back of mobo is designed clear enough to allow backplates for custom cooling (hooray!)
• Capable of competing neck to neck with the full ATX siblings in performance - all round great overclocks with processor and RAM!

Can be improved...
• Missed opportunity to include their own unique Ultra M.2 Gen3 x4 feature instead of the regular Z97 Gen2 x2 slot (since mITX does neither CFX nor SLI)
• Colour of heatsinks subjectively less attractive than previous Z87 model

Hmm, doesn't seem to be many reviews around but this site gave quite a favourable score to it.

ASRock Z97E-ITX/ac Review - Play3r

awards-silver.jpg

Summary: ASRock have done a good job with the Z97E-ITX/ac motherboard and it oozes great quality. With its 4+2 power phase, it has enough power to tame an i7 4770k when overclocked and did I mention those gorgeous metallic blue heat sinks? If you are in the market for a Z97 board and more particular, M-ITX, then make sure you consider the Z97E-ITX/ac!

Rather big jump to get another 100MHz, probably better to stick to 4.2GHz for 24/7. :)

Oh yeah, confirmed that this Pentium G3258 had no problems doing BBC live streaming. :D
