It really depends on one's time frame and objectives.

What I have observed is that many long term investors are actually short term traders - when they see a small profit, they cannot help themselves and locked in too early, only to miss out in the longer term run. And when these investors see a loss, they end up being long term investors as they just could not bear cutting loss. There are some examples on this forum :D

Now if one is a trader, then sticking to the predefined time frame is important. That way, you would not lose track and stray off your trading methodology.

Absolutely true. Be it a short or long term investor, at least need set an objective target yield%, and not just a blind follower.

Some says buy in when others are fear, some says do not be greed, some says buy banks and reits for retirement :o

I just preferred those with more gap up.

I see, you are very much a momentum trader. This is also one of my preferred intraday play with a strong preference for gap downs over gap ups.

Not a trader either. I usually pick one or less and could hibernate it thru cycles for passive yield. Occasionally aveage out, yield set out 15% above and depend on how bullish it could carry on. Current pick still hovers 20% up. I am greed, and of course a quick out if all went wrong. I quited SGD in stock, only on USD now.

Realised too much blind followers here, and just an advise to them that not everyone in the same stock portfolio will share the same fruits taste.

yes, moi see electric cars no up lolx

now to average it nia

Interesting view given that the world is moving towards electric cars due to climate and environmental issues. But that's how traders should be functioning - see beyond what the current price is indicating and taking a position based on one's views.

From a technical perspective, I see TSLA 's rally petering out as well.

Shorting for profits of USD 74k!
His style of trading is pure price action - no indicators other than the VWAP and volume. I have been following this trader for a long time - he posts his trades live as they are being done. This is proof of intraday trading being profitable and one can make a decent living being a day trader.

There will be no capital gain tax if u submit in the W8BEN form, but US dividends is subjected for 30% withhold tax. The gap swing can be more realistic to fulfill one greed set beyond 15+%. A good analyst upgrade and the stock can roar roll into many folds.
Whereas in local, I can't find any more moving vehicles, limited selections, and easily get manipulate. Ideally for passive yield collection only.
