First impressions are that the belt is an extremely solid piece of work!

The buckle is stainless steel and polished to a high shine. It feels extremely solid with quite a bit of heft. Doesn't feel cheap at all.

The leather used is a single piece of Bridle Leather, which is quite stiff. It is expected to break in with the user and mold itselfto your body. What's interesting is that this piece of leather features the grain and flesh on the outside and inside facing, respectively. Touching both surfaces simultaneously is quite interesting.

The leather is cut (3rd pic) unevenly, and is quite disappointing even though this is a handmade product.

Overall a very solid belt with high quality leather that feels like it will last me for years with proper care. Considering its one piece of leather, without any plastics etc stuck onto the surface there isn't any fear of the belt peeling either.

Can anyone share how long you had to wait from receiving the email from Equusleather that order is shipped (by Royal Mail international signed & tracked) to receiving it by Singpost/Speedpost? The tracking number Equus gave can neither be used for Speed/Singpost.

Equus email saying order was shipped and completed was 28 Apr and it is now 10 days. The Royal Mail website said on I believe 1 May (or earlier) that the parcel was already with local delivery service (i.e. with Speed/post).

Quite interested in getting Bridle Leather belt, since full-grain dress belt is almost not in sight in Singapore. Thinking of getting Stratfield Kit and topping up with an additional belt strap, but the total price of £170.00 (incl. postage) is above my budget. Are there any compatible buckles in local market if I choose to only buy two straps (but no buckle) from Equus?

any place to recommend for a lighter brown leather belt as compared to the usual dark brown from braun buffel etc? looking at those where you can cut the leather length to adjust to waist, don't like excess leather flaps after buckling.

Need one to match my lighter tone pair of leather shoes which I've left aside for a while since I couldn't find any matching belt :(

budget probably $100+

thanks in advance!
