hi thanks for your reply! yup!! the colour of my shoes is like a combination of hazel and london tan. but if i were to pick one, hazel would be it.

how much does this belt cost? it looks expensive..

depending what you getting, start from sgd$140 and up included shipping.
you can request leather samples from them on their website and there a 10% discount at styleforum, can google for it.

for people got the budget $150 and up can check it out, they got a long thread at sytlefourm and many discussion in other internet forums.
they offering one of the good deal for bespoke artisan quality leather belt.
actually their prices went up quite abit over the years(anyway almost everything went up for the past few years, just look at our hdb prices) but it still a good deal for the quality and workmanship. i remembered few years back able to get a basic belt for around sgd$100 or less included shipping.

Hi all,

Any idea where to trim belt? Not the type that just cut the end and clip back. My Ted Baker belt is the fixed length type. So i believe the only way to trim is to cut the free end shorter. But this might damage it so wondering who can do it properly.

Punch more holes. If you found someone willing to do it for you the workmanship cost alone would be more than the belt is worth.

hmm you could try those shoe repairs shops like Shukey or MrFixIt etc, they sometimes do offer such services, however i'm not sure of the charges.

Navy Cordovan is a pretty rare colour. I'm not sure if there is a similar product out in the market.

The shoe tree doesn't really matter. As long as you have some aromatic wooden ones and actually use it.

You need to check if it is one piece or 2 piece cordovan. 2 piece isn't as good but is cheaper.

at that price it is a steal if it is indeed single-piece horween shell

a quick browse will show you those 2 or 3 piece stitched/glued shell belts run in the 200~250USD ball park

single-piece horween shell belts are easily twice the price and makes would proudly claim it is single-piece.

japanese shells will definitely run for less, but they are not exactly the same.


durability wise, don't think 2/3 piece shell are any far worse(how often do you kill a good belt).
single-piece is more of a connoisseur thing imo
