if i put myself in your shoe.
TAD has back paddings
BB doesnt

Thats the decision making criteria for me. SG so hot, i need back paddings in all my bags.

Yea, back padding, especially in our humid environment, it is more important & one of my criteria in backpack choice. TAD's one is pretty common but better than none.

Hmm random observation: the Errant seems to be the most popular bag on MRT commutes these days...previously it was the Peak Design.

Seem like there's a good number of customers receiving their Boundary Supply despite the complains.

Another brand that you guys might want to check out for dual gym/office use is lululemon. Their backpacks looks to be gaining popularity amongst the CBD/Orchard crowd.

the boundary errant i keep seeing, but their reputation and the way they do business just prohibits me from supporting them any further.

On another hand, recently saw a blackember forge, looks quite cool. Has anyone received theirs? Wondering if its usable as a EDC

Forge does look promising but tbh, unless you're packing camera & lenses, or a whole change of gym clothes & shoes daily, anything more than 20 litres is really overkill for edc in Singapore. Especially if you take the public commute - you'll be one of those whose bag gets knocked about left, right & center by fellow passengers.

very much agree, i reckon for 70% of us, a bag like the Forge is an overkill.

but still, never hurts to have a bag with such capacity and features (expand capacity) ... never know when we'll need it, good to have one in your arsenal already haha. My Arcteryx Khard 30 plays such a role.

PS: i think the Forge will perform rather poorly as a camera bag, based on review videos...

From the looks of it, 30L is really too much liao.. Though it looks good being slick but the size how many of us can carry it off well? Just wondering

Hmmmmm

If we are talking backpack brands purely from Kickstarter, I feel Bobby is top,
Then PD
And then Errant

So far, I rarely see Prima in CBD area.

think Prima is too heavy le, i'll imagine guys with formal attire and Prima looks a bit weird + they sure sweat underneath :s13:

ya, i think Bobby is still more popular.

PD? I rarely see PD in the wild, which PD are we talking about? o_O

PD everyday haha! The old gen

50 - 100 rah i not employed at the moment :s13:
Bobby original less than 100 sgd

Take note of luggage and backpack offers via shopee. Lazada, amazon.sg

And even those warehouse sales... It's easy to get decent backpacks between that range

The company just sent me a replacement...

But I have no use for it at all, as my edc is Errant.

Originally bought for $120 sgd (include shipping)... I can let it cheap.

Anyone wants can pm me

Any recommendation for hiking bag?
Have. Aplenty actually.

North face, Sierra, Quehua, Osprey, Deuter, Active Boots, Berghaus, Peak Design Travel, Nomatic Travel, Fjallravn. granite Gear, Gossamer, Gregory, Hyperlite

And then there's the SAF big Field pack.

More important questions are
1) you looking for how many litres? 36L? 45L? 65L?

2) what kind of hiking? Dayhike? Overnight? Or extended treks?
