Replaceable? From who? TAD will mail to singapore?
Yes I base my initial impression/flaws based on reviews &
still, feel the same on the actual item.
During the organization, I notice the "wrapping paper" sound when the interior is adjusted to place items.
Honestly, I think not too bad but if in a quiet environment, then that will be a bummer.
Case in point: early morning was packing my bag & sound made was enough for me to hold my breath as everyone else was sleeping.
So far took it out once but have not use it sufficiently yet
Zipper Pulls -> ok sorry, haha i too vague.
i mean you can easily cut away the current zipper pulls and use paracords to zhng..or grab some zipper pulls from carousell/lazada and replace it.
TAD themselves do sell zipper pulls but warning first, the ones they sell, the pulling tab is gan small, not user friendly.
Roger on the zipper tabs. Was thinking whether to just cut it now & replace with better sleeker ones. Even paracords should look better.
very personally i'll use it a while more before i really decide the current style really isnt for me..
cause hypalon is irreversible once u cut it away...just to play safe la..
but yes, paracord will make ur pack more interesting (cause colors ma) and definitely much easier to pull...
Where do you guys get your paracords from?

Hi folks, long time lurker and thanks for the helpful info on this thread. I finally narrowed down my next EDC choice to
1. Brand new Granville Zip 16 from Campers Corner
2. 2nd hand Black Ember Citadel Minimal
I can get the Citadel for about 75% of the Granville MSRP but I’m more swayed to the design of the Granville. Besides price, the Citadel has about 6-9 liters more capacity. Anyone who has owned either/both offer some thoughts? Much appreciated.
FYI, I’ll be carrying an 15 inch MBP, 1 packing cube for gym clothes, 1 toiletries kit, 2 tech pouches, water bottle, pocket umbrella & a pair of gym shoes daily. My current EDC pack, which I plan to retire, is able to fit all these including the shoes but it’s a squeeze.
Yeah my thoughts actually. I'm willing to carry my gym shoes by hand to free up space.i doubt the Zip 16 can fit your load...

I'll probably bring a fully loaded pack to campers corner and see if I can fit the majority of my EDC into the Granville...

So I actually went down to Campers Corner over the weekend with a fully loaded EDC, the lady on duty was super nice about letting me test out the Granville Zip 16.
I actually managed to fit all these - 15 inch MBP, 1 packing cube for gym clothes, 1 toiletries dopp kit, 2 tech pouches, water bottle, protein shaker, pocket umbrella & a pair of gym shoes - into the Granville...needless to say that was the absolute max the bag could take but a very nice surprise. Copped it on the spot and I'm very sure the true carrying capacity of the Zip 16 is more like 20 L, you just need to be creative at packing which items to go in first.
I also tried fitting my EDC into a Nomin and had room to spare for 1-2 tupperware lunchboxes. Strangely, I found the Granville more comfortable than the Nomin...Was joking with the lady the whole time that I would run out of the store with one of the bags.![]()

Yeah I'm def ok with zero allowance if I can squeeze in a pair of gym shoes! Like you said, if I need more space I can take out my shoe bag which has a carry handle.comfort level is personal and subjective, but i'm with you on the Granville. I am 1.65 and the Nomin is too tall for me even at the shortest strap length. The strap is made of seatbelt material which means its smooth and it tends to slides away after you carry the pack and start walking. That said, i dont think taller people will experience this issue.
The Nomin can definitely fit all your items in easily, but i'm surprised you can fit your shoes into the Granville! But are you OK with an EDC bag with zero allowance left for last-min additions into your pack, or since you are willing to hold the shoe in your hand if the above really do happen, i think the Granville might be a good choice for you!
Plus, it's much cheaper than the Nomin haha.
