have been trying to search for a daily backpack between 17L to 21L so that i have some additional capacity when i need to carry 2 laptops and other things. My current Fossil messenger can't carry that much.

i didn't want to spend too much, was trying to limit my budget to like $60 but all i see are like AGVA or Targus backpacks, almost wanted to get the Nixon Landlock Small or Smith that was on sale for NDP at ~$54 https://www.loopme.sg/live-post/SFTAu9JYsLjDNi7f but didn't really like that black or the lack of compartments. By the time i wanted to settle with it, it's sold out.

Was also thinking AGVA, Targus, Elecom at that budget but nothing really caught my attention.

Then was considering upping my budget and go for Timbuk2, ablecarry daily, Bellroy Campus Backpack but was waiting to see if there's any sale.

Eventually i chanced upon Anello PEG https://www.carrot-online.jp/c/anello/a-ruck/AT-C3051 and NESS https://www.carrot-online.jp/c/anello/a-ruck/AT-C2545 at Bugis BHG last weekend. I never expected Anello to have such a design, always thought Anello is girly and small, but this actually looks quite classy and at a good size.

Any reviews/comments/feedback on Anello products?

Is the cpl24 a fair bit bigger? My errant doesnt feel like its 24L with all the compartments eating into the actual capacity.

Considering a switch to cpl24 or maybe find something around 26L.

i personally haven't used the CPL24 for long, but i can say the CPL24 is definitely bigger then Errant.

based on my experience touching Anello packs in malls (i.e. i've not used it in real world before), the material looks so-so, doesnt impress me.

but i will put a disclaimer first, that i'm used to packs like Triple Aught Design, Arcteryx, Mystery Ranch so my comfort zone is of a different price league from Anello..

if i may recommend, perhaps you can consider topping up ur budget and research more into Able Carry (can go the shop called Bag Creature to see), Evergoods (can go the shop called Fall Factor to see) and see if it suits ur requirements.

Whilst the Bellroy is a beautiful piece, i always have the impression tat their packs are slightly overpriced. I may be wrong on this.

Hope the above helps and perhaps you can strongly consider the Evergoods!

Also read up extensive on AbleCarry, youtube reviews and etc, but the price is really the biggest barrier.

Eventually i saw Qoo10 selling the Anello PEG at S$75 after vouchers, i bit the bullet and bought it, the pictures here really made me think it is what i'm looking for with all the organization compartments inside: https://global.rakuten.com/en/store/homestore/item/atc3051/

I totally agree that Bellroy is overpriced. In fact there are many other brands which are overpriced.

CPL24 really not cheap. Got mine for S$259 exlcuding shipping. But still cheaper than Goruck.

Same but once I adjusted the strap to flush the bag top with my shoulder, all is comfy. The downside is the bag can feel hot due to prolong carrying. Maybe the heat cannot dissipate well. Definitely not suitable for buibui
