Anyone tried the phone listed? Been thinking which phone to get while looking at reviews, but some are paid reviews so I don't really trust what they said.

Umidigi S2 Pro
Elephone S8
Elephone P8
Ulefone T1
Doogee Mix
Maze Alpha

If you have any phone which are better in terms of spec/price than the ones I've listed please do feel free to recommend it. Thanks!

Seems like xiaomi gonna announce and release a bunch of mid range 18:9 "bezel-less" phones early next mth in time for 11.11. I am turning my attention to that. Was very interested in getting the vernee mix 2 but till now still no sound no picture other than a plethora of fake unboxing and review videos on youtube. Gearbest has pushed back shipment date from end oct to mid nov due to "out of stock" even as they are continuing to take pre-orders. Really cant place too much trust in these lesser known MIC brands.

Lazada selling Vernee mix 2 @ $250 and Maze Alpha @ $209 but by PRC/HK sellers of cos. Can bring down the price even further with use of discount code, Liveup member 5% rebate and shopback 1.5% cashback. The price of Maze alpha is particularly interesting considering the seller, Tomtop HK, is currently selling it at USD$160 on their website. Maybe clearing stock in anticipation of launch for the alpha X.

What's a good Android phone that's below SGD$150? Need 4G+3G.

I was looking at a Redmi 4x 2GB+16GB, but prices have increased for those export models since launch...

Probably 2nd hand of Redmi Note 3 SD650

I used to have a Note 3 SD650. The earpiece has some problem, where sometimes the other person on the line can't be heard properly.

Anyway, I got a Redmi 4X 2+16GB already for $~130. Satisfied :o

Hi, sorry I am new here.

I saw quite a few replies on the brands that are not particularly well-known here.
May I know, how can we verify if these brands can work with local telcos network?

I am interested in the following:

- Ulefone T1
- Doogee BL7000

But currently is hesitant in buying because I am not sure if they work with the network.
And also does anyone know if there are any service centre or third party servicing providers for these brands?
