Not sure the one you referring to is for 2 weeks or 1 mth.

So if it is supposing for 2 weeks..
2 box of contact lens can only last you for 3 months. That's is why acuvue is the most expensive (if you follow the guideline to use only for 2 weeks)

I was referring to the 1mth contact lenses, in that case it would be $35 for 3 months?

Jono1608: for 1 mth per lens (B&L) is cheaper since it is monthly. Not sure abt the price.

recently i just checked out this optical shop which sells monthly contact lenses for a year,for $120.. acuve or something.. not too sure,
is that a decent price?

You have to seek the assistance of the cerificated staff in the shop, they will do some checks on your eye (eg. contour, condition of your eye) to be able to recommend the best selections.

what's the cheapest B&L purevision contact lens available? I was quoted $144 for 4 boxes (each box has 3 inside) + 1 pair + 1 bottle of lens solution. good?

i was quoted $120 for acuvue.. i think.. :S no idea about B&L.. X_X so did anyone went to see an optician when they first got their lenses?

Always remember, if you first time wearing contact lens. Do tell the optician that you are first time wearing it.. If not they sell you the lens without checking your eye or advising you.

Acuvue 2 is Bi-weekly..

Happen to be going JB so decided to go City Square to replenish my contacts. I've taken a shot of a price sheet from one of the shops for those who want to compare. I went a few optical shops and found out that unlike SG where the prices don't differ much, different shops have different prices. Certain range some shop cheaper than the other, there isn't a shop that sells every range the cheapest so it helps to compare and can save you more money.

I got focus dailies toric, RM110/box, buy 3 boxes 1 box free from Optical 88. Shop B (Focus Point or something, red signboard) charges RM110/box no promo. Shop C (just above Optical 88, Davidson Eyewear) selling RM150/box no promo. Toric have to order so I decided to get normal dailies 1 month supply for the time being until I get the chance to collect the toric ones.

For normal focus dailies, Optical 88 charges RM70/box, buy 3 boxes 1 box free, same as shop B. Shop C however charges RM50/box, RM180 for 4 boxes. I don't need so much so I got 2 boxes from shop C on the spot.

Any whr, their air optics in the pics sae Rm 69 for one pack. Their one pack is 3months right? So buy 3 get one free= 4packs = 1yr supply.

correct? Or is it half year supply?

Air optics come in 3pcs/pack so 4 boxes = half a year supply
