new here, but i ve been trying to buy online...so easy.

seechic.com new website in SG. they say they are 25% off and offer free eye test. any one know them? looks legit.
Seechic will do random audits on purchases to make sure u have a valid prescription.

Seems like you are related to them hey? Who would name themself Singapore CL if they aren't selling contact lenses? Lol

Aiseh just missing the signature. Oh yea anyway. the prescription is also missing the contact lens brand and base curve. Not all brand of contact lenses fit the same way even if they carry the same base curve. So ya, you have a Contact Lens Power and not a contact lens prescription

related - not me, but friends of friends :). was looking for CL online and talked to them. they say they are legit and registered.

called seechic customer care: to verify prescription: you upload yours and if you don t have it you give name of shop . they call the optima to verify the prescription is valid. No need for signature (nobody signs in SG they say.

prices: they have a 30% off offer, at the moment plus their code SC10, makes a good deal :). let s see how this evolve, but SG CL are so expensive.

lol then legally that is not a valid prescription. for a contact lens to be dispensed, the optometrist must verify that the eye health of the patient is within normal limits before the dispensing could be done.

you seem to know a lot about them. this seems more like an advert. I know who the optometrist is in seechic. But, that's not the way contact lenses should be prescribed/dispensed legally.

Read back a few pages and saw a few people saying they didn't get proper fitting, and toric lenses shifting. I would like to recommend Menicon PremiO.

I tried some acuvue lenses before and I didn't like them as they kept shifting when I blinked. I looked around for places that offered trials and came across this. Would like to share my experience with this lens.

The trial for this costs $30 bucks which includes everything, fitting and trial set. If you like it and return to buy, then the $30 bucks will be offset. I tried the PremiO Toric. This lenses shift very minimally and must be orientated correctly before wearing.

Firstly, they would asked me for my medical background, and then they tested for power and eye health. After testing, they dispensed a trial set for me to wear. There's a nice area for me to wash my hands and slowly put it on. After putting it on, they once again checked power and fitting.

After everything went fine, they gave me a starter kit of solution and also a nice little pouch to put my spectacles. I was also told to go back 1 week later to do a check.

When I went back, they again checked everything, and decided that I could use a better prescription. They again dispensed a new set of lenses for me.

In the end, I decided to sign up a membership.

Overall, very professional staff, and lenses feels quite good. This was really a stark contrast to a neighbourhood shop that ordered a set of trial lenses for me based on my spectacles without doing and eye check.

Heading to KSL this saturday.

Anyone with the current price per box of Acuvue Moist at KSL/City Square/anywhere else in Jaybee?

Just to throw my 2 cents thought - I will usually get my lot from Taiwan (Acuvue Moistx- SGD21 and Definex-SGD35) but this year no chance to go, bobian now have to go Johor and maybe upcoming bkk to get my usual lenses, so far the quality of Acuvue is the same across Asia.

Need advice for 1st time wearer.

Got the trial lens today. Will be going back 1 week later.

Does toric lens(astigmatism) takes longer to get used to? I using toric lens on my left eye and normal lens on my right eye. My right eye pretty much feel natural after some time but left eye still kind of have a feeling of the lens and not as clear.

as far as I know, only silicone hydrogel lenses need getting use to.
Anyway I would advise you go back to your optometerist and ask ba.

you can try acuvue biweekly lenses called oasys instead of moist (dailies)
But as usual, get a proper prescription/recommendation by your optician from the optical shop first ba.

my right eye need an astig lens.

as my curvature or some shape or axis of my right eye isnt a acuvue default, the optician told me to try another brand for my right eye.

but the problem is, that brand dont have my axis or something, so when i wear it, my right eye will confirm be blur..words at a dist is blur

when I try acuvue (which dont have the correct curvature), it isnt blur (axis correct?), but feels like it dries up much quicker, and will feel like its gona drop out

any advise on whether i shld go ahead with acuvue astig, or the other brand's?
