Just bought this game during the $4 sale with my friend. Whenever I play with my friend, she says that her game lags, doesn't matter if the session owner is either of us. Ping and Packet loss from network stats seems fine and she says that the game is fine when she's playing solo. Anyone experience such issues before?

both of u from sg? if yes, most probably the internet service provider issue

haven't played for sometime but started few days ago for new specialization.

I'm on wired, so far no problem in group. if she on wifi 2.4g, try switching to wifi 5g. best on wired of coz.

got no idea then cause we had one aus player join us in dark zone no issue it seems.

Sigh... We never had problems when playing other games like borderlands, portal, warframe, even fast paced shooters like apex legends. Really don't know why division 2 even got lag when you're server host...

DX12 or DX11 user? if on DX12, try dropping to DX11.

Hmm, both of us running DX11 by default. But how would DX11/12 affect connection lag?

i think Directx also handles gaming network api, so might bw worth the try. i keep having issues with DX12 but ok DX11. I read some othets issues with DX11 instead. so might be worth the try.

also u may like check which server for both of you. once i got connected to aussie server, the connection wasn't good. i used "find better server" option on menu & got connected back to Asia server

When I join my friend's instance, she doesn't get the "Find better server" option. We've tried joining each other's session to see if there's any difference but nope.

using latest drivers? and are you using DX12? tried DX11?

happened before for me. all i did was go game launcher, click "verify files" for the game. it helped to reinstall some DX components that fixed crashing issue.

pretty interesting maps comparison among division series. expansion map looks much smaller than DC but denser.
