hi guys if anyone of you want to trade your replacement propellers for mavic air please PM me.

I have plenty of those without white markings for trade/sale.

You are on android or ios?Care to share how you hack fcc if you using android?

I'm using android. U can follow this video for fcc mavic mod. Don't need to root your android. Heck, don't even need a computer. But make sure u choose the right radio frequency that is the strongest for the remote. As there are a few to choose.

Fly far far is really shiok. ^^

I am always interested in buying a drone to play around as a hobby. However i wonder is a Mavic Air a good drone? Value for money for casual flying and taking aerial shots?

spark is most value for money.
mavic air is the best drone for s'pore environment and drone law restrictions.
don't get mavic2, unless you are professional photographer that die die must buy best equipment. for normal flyers, mavic air is as good as mavic2.

get a mavic air better. :s12:
i got spark and mavic2, no mavic air.

;)

General question, drones are mainly to take pics and DJI is quite expensive (but ofc superb quality) how do you guys decide when is a suitable time to get a drone i.e. like what level of photography skill. Or is everyone quite a professional here :)

most folks who buy dji probably had a some bit experience with a toy grade drone, before going full into a dji product.

Their course dates have been withdrew from the home page about 2 months ago.

Called them last month to enquire and the person don't know when the the new dates will be publish or when the course will restart, kept repeating 'the management will decide'.

if not yet bought your very first drone, try get some cheap indoor drones first...
- buy a DJI Tello, about S$120, if you like aerial photography, or
- buy a JJRC H36, about S$20+, if you like aerobatic or bashing drone around

both these tiny drones allow you to fly indoor inside your own home.

after your had mastered your drone flying skill, and would want to move further, then you go buy a DJI Spark/Mavic or Bebop/Anafi and fly far far away at east coast park or marina barrage...
