I understand that the guys spend some time to spar and train with each other before the filming starts.
The preparation time should be long.
Need dedication and passion from all the fighters involved to make it work.
The way they fight is brutal.
Not sure the sg version got any censorship.

I guess it is hard to find a director who know how to deliver the fighting scene to achieve the desired effect.
Can see the lousy effect from some of the china kung fu fighting with no focus and impact.
It is something that the HK film industry is able to capture.

Joe taslim also 1 damn good fighter, he in many US movies before as side kicks
