Yup, I followed an instruction over at another forum.

But now since I'm back on that firmware, can I assume everything is OK now for my handset?

I don’t think it should be an issue. It is certainly not normal for sure but they are all Singapore setting at very least.

We will have to see when there is an update available and if it will fail to capture your device for updates. Right now I think there is an update coming or at least one for the wifi fix.

I would avoid flashing anything other than Regional FW on these devices now. They are very very hard to revert without a visit to CS Center now.

Hi deathst, mine is sin/sin/xsp, so, looking at the last xsp, it means Sg or Samsung set huh?

1st sin means sim. 2nd sin means csc on phone now. 3rd xsp means the original firmware in phone.

Although 3rd xsp means the original csc firmware is sg samsung firmware, but since nowadays samsung firmware is multi csc, it will change the csc according to the sim card inserted on the first startup. Which is the 2nd sin. Your line is sintel as your 1st is sin.

I've doubts about that cause I've XSP/XSP/XSP on one of my device. I've not checked my other one.

Can't be possible I have an XSP sim right? :s22: Well I never trusted sim-detection.

I'm certain it is more of PDA/SIM/EFS so the CSC is applied for respective parts of the firmware where in this case he is likely to have Singtel apps loaded on. The main and by right the device's actual CSC is XSP, Samsung store direct unit

What does 2nd SIN = CSC on phone mean then? :)

Btw, my first line is m1 and 2nd line is SingTel.

Haizzz the loca tempered glass i ordered arrived on the very day i cracked my screen

How deep are the cracks? Loca may be able to fill in the gaps and hide the cracks

LOCA can hide scratches, but not cracks. The moment you apply LOCA on cracks, high chance of seeping into display and cause malfunctioning, and worse still, the glass can never be removed from the phone already.

omg. So easily cracked? Did you get the samsung care aka Samsung concierge?
It should cost around $200+ for samsung to fix it.

Few weeks back, i drop my note 8 off a fast-moving buggy up hill. Fortunately, it survived without any scratches or crack

Sigh . My daughter also dropped her s8. Screen cracked and LCD also has problem. The S8 only one year 2 months old. Going to Samsung to fix but I didn't buy converge that time. So could.be expensive...
