Discount of up to $425 for previous note 7 owners. Unsure if the amount or discount will come to sg.

The applications inside the Dex is it same as those installed in your Note8? Or Dex itself have more applications?

i'm sold. most probably will pre-order it with the telcos. time to retire moi note 4.....

the discount not applicable for sg ppl. previously during s8 pre-order got some ppl asked samsung sg and they stated they have already done the refund so there won't be any more discounts.

Don't think there was an official message on discounts for S8 s8+ from Samsung. This time it's different. Fingers crossed I guess.

Erm....the Dex is roughly the size of the wireless charger, which is already considered quite small for a docking station.

So if always on the move, should always bring the Dex and cables to connect to monitor/keyboard/mouse while the Note8 acts like the CPU and docked on the Dex.

I get what you wish for. Correct me if i am wrong but you hope it's more like just use a multi-connector to connect Note8 to monitor/keyboard/mouse. Am i right?

Yeah something like that, best is if it's a common item that most people will have

All exchange and refunds should have taken place many months ago. And nothing has been mentioned towards Note8 or the next Note from Samsung SG perspective. Only this is official as far as we're aware?

It's not that straightforward.
Otherwise third-party options would have come forth with such options for Samsung and all other phones.
