That is certainly not a metal song. The whole of The Acoustic Verse is a acoustic/progressive rock album.

Hahaha, I went to the Atreyu + Bullet For My Valentine + Avenged Sevenfold concert in New Zealand. Atreyu and Bullet were awesome, but Avenged were rubbish.

Avenged suck now, prefered their older albums.

juz started to dig into AILD as well ...impressive.

Parkway Drive is mean too, but.. dunno.. just don't really like them. Underoath and Silverstein are pretty mean Metalcore/Post-Hardcore bands too.

Yeah, I guess...
Metal scene.. well Atreyu, Bullet For My Valentine and Avenged Sevenfold came to NZ a while back, if I haven't mentioned already hehe.. Just recently Slipknot played their All Hope Is Lost gig, don't like Slipknot - didn't go. Before that, Disturbed, POD, Alter Bridge and Redline (NZ hard rock band) played in NZ. And waaay back in about March/April, I went to a concert by NZ Metalcore band Cause For Alliance. Best NZ band I've heard in ages.

Big Day Out here sucks.
The bands who play here are bad rock bands. This year the only good band is Bullet For My Valentine. Last year it was Antagonist, a NZ metal band.

Yeah BFMV. The songs in their new album are not bad too. Usually you will expect it to be of drop standard, but not theirs.

and yes, i wish singapore have our own metal fest kinda event!

To Our beloved fans and friends,

We regret to announce that I Killed The Prom Queen will no longer continue as a band. The final nail in the coffin came when Jona was asked to join USA Metal group Bleeding Through as second guitarist. This, coupled with our inability to find a replacement vocalist, aided the decision to end the band.

We would all like to sincerely thank all our friends and family and our label?s Stomp, Metal Blade, Golf and Howling Bull records for their ongoing support of IKTPQ and most of all we would like to thank all the fans that made the last 7 years the most amazing years of our lives. We feel that we made a good impact on the Australian and world wide music scenes.

We also apologise for the cancellation of our upcoming USA tour-dates.

The band will announce a final farewell Australian tour in the coming months.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I Killed The Prom Queen disbanded and played their Say Goodbye Tour in May/June. This is old news. But they were one of the best bands I've ever heard.
You can get their Sleepless Nights & City Lights DVD soon though, I'm gonna get it when it comes out. It's just live footage from Adelaide on the Say Goodbye Tour and has interviews with the band members.
