Yes, its avaliable in SG already. Most places selling for $19.90 but HMV's price is $17.90 and that 2 disc Essential Maiden is going for $14.90 only. lol I think the 2 disc is the better buy but less tracks from the 80s.

BTW, Aces High is a live track, right after track 1 live intro. Track 1 and 2 are from
Live After Death.

Yeah this compilation got nothing attractive for Maiden fans. All the songs any fan will already have them. Buy is just buy for the sake of buying and the cover art only. :s22:

Just bought Cavalera Conspiracy yesterday. Quite excellent if you're into Sepultura/Soulfly.

Its very good. Max's growling like getting more aggressive and deadly! :s13:

Song like Inflikted, Sanctuary and Bloodbrawl are excellent. 'Must Kill' is another outstanding track.

Hmm........I dun own any Soulfly albums, maybe will get this when its out.

lol they ARE Sepultura. After Max left, Sepultura isn't the same anymore.

The thing with sepultura is that after Chaos AD...they aren't the same anymore.
Choosing to be more Nu-Metal instead.
I mean on roots; Johnathan from Korn was invited for guest vocalist.
To me, Max was leading Sepultura in a down spiral.
Him leaving is actually for the better.
Look at Soulfly / Nailbomb...its band with Max which is not exactly progressing anywhere.
Green is actually not a bad vocalist. Just have to give him a chance and not read too much into reviews and throw everything you know about Sepultura out of the window.

The thing is there are many era to Sepultura's sound.
You must be referring to the Root's sound ya.
Imho...thats not exactly their peak.

Sepultura's sound is constantly evolving from Morbid Visions right to Roots, every album has a different sound and feel. I have Nation and I think its so so only.

BTW, I'm not a fan of Sepultura or Max, just like their music and I find CC's 1st album is good.

Why dun you guys give CC a chance then? But music is subjective, what I think is good u might not like.

went HMV yest & got a copy of cavalera consp. CD.
hvnt gv it a spin yet...so no comments as yet.
& skipped maiden's compilation for another time.

also had a sample listening to testament's latest album.."The Formation Of Damnation". Their latest offering after a 9year hiatus.
those who are familiar with de band...fear not..they're still on track...well intact.

hmmm..reminds me of de days back then..de bay area bashers as they're well known of.. alongside 'tallica..exodus..'deth..etc..etc.

I still feel that the only Maiden compilation worth buying is the Best of the Beast 2CD set, though I did break down and buy Ed Hunter many years ago :)
