I love this album! Now I'm waiting for my Special Edition Machine Head "The Blackening" to arrive in the mail. Can't wait.

But I've got a feeling that Phil Demmel might not last long in MH... The guy seems to be plagued with illness and collapsing onstage lately. I hope all goes well for the band. It will be a shame if they break the momentum.

tink later tdy me wud go check out HMV or borders .. see if they have it . :o

In October they will be heading to Australia with Slipknot. [31]The band will be touring Europe with Slipknot and Children of Bodom in November and December.[32] The band have recorded a version of Iron Maiden's classic, "Hallowed Be Thy Name" for a Kerrang! tribute compilation album, entitled "Maiden Heaven: A Tribute to Iron Maiden". Also appearing on the CD are label mates, Dream Theater and Trivium.

MH had canclled their last 2 shows with Slipknot because of Phil's health issue.

In any case, I've got my Special Edition of "The Blackening", and all I can say is that even though I've already got the Europe version of the CD, this is still worth getting just for the DVD and the rarities CD. The live performance on the DVD are superb. Watching the chemistry Robb Flynn and Phil Demmell have onstage trading licks was awesome!

interesting take on some cover songs done by MH, especially Hallowed Be Thy Name and Nirvana's Negative Creep (one of my fav Nirv songs)

Definitely. I'm not a fan of Nirvana but their cover of Negative Creep was kick-ass. Even more so that Velvet Revolver's.

Man, The Sword is really good! I just checked the site and yeap, only 2 albums released. Love the songs and their sound. Even their album covers are pretty old-school looking too.

The albums would now be on my next shopping list!

i'm glad u guys like The Sword.

actually i compared them to Death Magnetic....

The Sword current album - God of the Earth is an album full of riffs...as compared to DM, it stands out.

DM is full of repeated riffs, wheres The Swords are riffs and riffs which u cant get enough
