nola bro jus quoting afraid some forumers here are the pro metal....

like the forum in soft... the pro black/death/speed metal listeners are more anti to screamo/metalcore

so once in a while a forumer post a screamo music it gets scrutinized by the those metalheads forumers

i got the quote from EDMW:o

ahh icic .. me understd from ur pov abv .

no worries .. in here v minimal for dat kinda tings to happen or perhaps they dun really voice out dat much even if they might dissent so much abt de bands/vids me had posted ..

well ok .. happened once to me in here b4 . :look:

to me if others are not into bands dat me lurved to listen to .. its okiezzz ..
vice versa to those whu liked certain bands/genre dat me not really keen at but me wud nvr diss their choice .
juz dun condemn me for wat me lurve & force me to embrace wat others idolised . :s22:

personal preferences varies . to each his/her own . :)

hmmm .. any1 here listens to Atreyu ? They're categorised as metalcore but smhw me thinks isn't it similar to screamo as mentioned in e previous page ? Or new sounds nowadays are so much infused here & there that it really doesnt matter anymore as long as it's metal .

Well .. but then again of 'cos there'll be those who's either for or against . :o

-----------------------------------------------------
meanwhile a triple ol' dose of Atreyu .

Yeah screamo received quite a bit of flak but metal, when it was still underground had lots of critiques too.

To me, as long as its metal or sounds like metal, its alright, nevermind the style of singing. I think punk, esp hardcore is kinda related to metal. Like some long lost cousins. :s13:

Their grestest hits good? I've Lead Sails but I find it a bit diluted....a diluted form of metalcore. A bit poppy! lol. Just like In Flame's lastest offering A Sense of Purpose is more like alternative metal than melo death.

Its been a few months since I got my Draconian albums and I'm still listening to it. I think this band deserves a bit more attention but its quite different to the recent metalcore bands featured recently, so some of u might not like it. Draconian is a gothic/doom metal band.

Anyway, here are 3 of my fav songs from their latest album, Turing Season Within.

My fav song, Bloodflower

The song that got me into Draconian, Seasons Apart

A 7.5min epic! Morphine Cloud

More Draconian! 2 videos from their 2nd album Arcane Rain Fell.

What a beautiful song; Heaven Laid In Tears (Angel's Lament)

The Abhorrent Rays

And lastly, probably 1 of their best; The Morningstar

Hope you enjoyed Draconian!

u could say that for LSPA .. kinda popish in a way but their songs definitely won't surface anytime soon in mainstream radios .

their greatest hits pretty alright for me so can't really guarantee if it would be nice for others . :o

hmmm .. draconian's tunes have pretty nice feel to it .
tho' tbh me ain't that really keen on gothic metal but it's calmin' to listen to once in a while .

Hmm....I dun think I will like Type O. Have their greatest hits but dun quite like. Draconian is probably the only doom/gothic metal band I listen. I prefer more thrash, death/melo death, metalcore etc with some progressive, power and doom metal thrown in.

To add on to this thread :) Just discovered this band, anyone knows how to get their album?
