Quite some negative reviews for the new album, but I think it's good

Favourite tracks are The Warrior and From Broken Vessels. The guitar solo in The Warrior is just awesome man

Guys should also check out their previous album, Mabool. On the whole, I like Mabool better but Orwarrior is close with some great tracks.

The Flames of the End is a three-disc DVD set from Swedish metal band At The Gates. Its main feature is a 2-hour+ documentary detailing the history of the band and their successful reunion tour, directed by guitarist and founding member Anders Bjorler.

The set also includes their set from Wacken Open Air 2008 on the second disc, and a collection of songs from various venues, music videos and deleted scenes from the documentary on the third. The set is packaged in a digipak with a 40-page booklet.

Earache records has also made available a limited-edition set including an LP, CD, shirt, belt buckle, keyring, patch and 4 plectrums. Bjorler has described the DVD as "a fine last document for the band".

Some old skool from Metallica.

...And Justice for All

...And Justice for All to me is my fave Metallica album

the whole feel, and the recording is so darn gd.

...And Justice for All is definitely my fave Metallica tune, to me its the ultimate metal song.

The first time i listen to One, i was like wat the fook, this is wat i call epic.

Its still amazing to be heard live.

Painkiller, for me, is THE ultimate metal song, and encompasses all that metal ever was. Like if anyone was to ask me what's a good metal song, I'de blurt out Painkiller. Musically perfect with killer riffs, an intense drum solo, 2 of the best guitar solos ever as well as bone-chilling falsetto vocals and screams, nothing represents metal so strongly IMO. Probably not even MOP.

Anyway few bands I listen to

Metallica
Slayer
Megadeth
Iron Maiden
Black Sabbath
Judas Priest
Metal Church
Dream Theater
Lamb of God
Dio
Rainbow
Motley Crue(Hard Rock/Glam Metal)
Kiss (Hard Rock)

I mostly listen to the stuff from the 80s and 90s. Anyone has any recent bands to intro? Is it a trend for newer bands to death-growl their way through? What ever happened to good old screaming like Rob Halford or Bruce Dickinson?

The soundboard recording of the mp3 sounds great too.
