I think Neurosis is somewhat a pretty strange band. Rather hardcore punk, close to doom metal and progressive metal but I like their sound.

I used to listen to MDB...but then...somehow...somewhere... Paradise Lost came into my ipod and out goes MDB... that was my last doom metal band..

FKU like not bad leh....but working now...cannot watch youtube... go home n watch...

He is from Swabia, Germany. You can also call him by his ancestral German tribe as a Suevian.

OMG yes yes YES!!! My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost, Anathema and Katatonia for the win Although nowadays Katatonia and Anathema have moved on from Death/Doom to more Progressive Rock so they're kinda meh. But MDB and Paradise still kick ass.

Also, Khanate are sick-as-hell drone. Glad to see another doom fan on these forums
