This is the timetable for last year... sure will have some clashes... for me, i would be at stage 4 and stage 4 annex all the way till rob zombie, then move to stage 1 for Maiden... this year headliner is SOAD and slipknot... i'm guessing SOAD will be taking Maiden's time slot...

My friend went in 2010.. he say he saw abt 6-7 bands... for the price of abt SGD$200 (2012 price), i think its worth it...

Actually this year i think quite a few nice albums... Times Of Grace being one, with Machine Head's Locust, Chthonic's Takasago Army, DevilDriver's Beast, Children Of Bodom's Relentless Reckless Forever, Obscura's Omnivium, Morbid Angel's Illud Divinum Insanus, Arch Enemy's Khaos Legion, In Flames's Sounds of a Playground Fading, Trivium's In Waves, Amon Amarth's Surtur Rising...

My personal favs is the Machine Head, Chthonic and In Flames new albums... although Megadeth's new album is awesome too...

MH's Locust... it's really intense... and it just get heavier and heavier... Rob Flynn surprisingly does a good job at singing clean and normally... Phil Demmel and Flynn's guitar interplaying was superb. And no... no double bass drumming all the way... it was used sparingly to good effect... Overall, I think that MH put out a record that will surely be in contention for the 2011 best metal album award...

But... if I only had the money for 1 album, it would be Chthonic... Epic album...
