The stock has arrived ,ordered online on last week of June.

A) OTG usb cable - work well and can even detect my mouse :D
B) Clear screen protector - have extra, keen parties do pm me :s13:

Hi Bro,

Where did u buy the OTG cable? I bought twice from Gmarket(Qoo10), both unable to be detect by the my mediapad. Luckily sold them off to my colleagues who were holding Galaxy Note and S3. Did u order any spare for the OTG cable? I need one.

BTW, does the OTG works with ICS 4.0.3 or only honeycomb? Mine is ICS.

Hi guys, I just tried to connect the media pad to my tv ( panasonic brand and LG ) , it can mirror perfectly, but bear in mind, under settings, you need to turn the colour enhancement off, as I realized that if I did that, it will work for both tv. But if I turn the color enhancement on, only my LG tv can work.. Do take note. Enjoy..btw, you need a micro hdmi cable...go eBay to buy.. Not every expensive..under $10...

Hi are you able to sync the audio to the tv when connect to tv via hdmi?mine one visual is ok but the sound still come out from the mediapad leh..:s11:

Mine is on ICS 4.0.3. and so far I have only tried it on my old Toshiba 2GB thumb drive and an optical mouse. Tried on an external HDD 2.5'(60gb and 120gb),despite with the HDD light on and running, but it just couldnt detect the ext HDD on the file manager. Guess our mediapad couldnt power up a 2.5' external HDD bah. Cant have 2 sides of the cake, can detect a thumb drive not bad liao. Will try a 32gb or 64gb thumb drive to see does it works on due course.

The OTG cable I bought it from ebay, please refer to the link. Hope it helps.

Mine is both video and audio generated from TV speaker. This is the technology of HDMI, all in one...

Thanks for the reply. I bought one locally which was the cable type and another from korea, adapted type. Both also cannot work, usb, mouse etc. But when tried with samsung note and S3, no problem. Kind of weird. Don't know whether my mediapad usb got some problem. But when connect to PC can transfer files. Still thinking whether to buy from the link provided by you. Two failed attempts, third one not so sure:s22:

I got exactly the same thing in the picture from korea. But cannot work. Now cannot convince myself to buy another to try. Anyway, thanks for the quick replies and the links(where to buy).:)

Oic. Make it simple, you may pay me a visit to try the mentioned usb cable type OTG before making a decision. I lived in Nth East area. Give me a pm and we may discuss further. No problem for me.

Thanks for sharing that 64gb thumbdrive works. Would like seek further opinion, when you remove your thumbdrive from the OTG port. Do you:
A) just unplug?
B) go to setting -storage -unmount usb storage to perform a proper unmount?

For my case, above mentioned ways will caused my apps that save on micro sd card unable to execute. I was prompted to restart launcher, which i did but to no avail. I need to restart my mediapad everytime when i unplugged my thumbdrive in order for those apps that have saved or moved to the micro sd card to work.

Can share your experience? Thanks.

Oic, maybe after you pull out. Try tapping on maps, comics or any games under gameloft see does it works. If convenient, thanks.

newest ICS roms

Yeah I'd also like to hear any feedback on it before I leap. So I read that W is non 3G. Then what about 302u?

Anyways, for those still interested, I found my cover, screen protector, otg + hdmi cable in package deal from taobao. Cover is custom for our tablet - stiff rubberised back and ipad smart cover lookalike front flap. Lasted me for a few months already and still looks great. Had to ask a HK friend with China credit card to help purchase n courier tho but u can prob also look up local taobao buying services which charge a small fee. At $20+ for the package, I'd say it's a steal!

FYI the mini usb I think quite standard - I can use my Nokia data cable with our tablet and it transfers data, tethers and charges. Haven't tried w the Nokia mini hdmi to hdmi adapter n OTG adapter tho...

can le, after restarting the device now audio come out from tv not the mdp anymore..:s13:

The HDMI feature doesn't work for me. Mediapad using ICS. When turned on the option, and plug to my sharp aquos tv, no picture appears, but can hear cracking sound from the TV. Mediapd show HDMI connected. Other hdmi ports on the TV also same problem.

Any bro faced similiar problem like this before?

try connect the hdmi cable to your mdp & tv first before switch on the screen of the device, after switch on the screen should have a notification of hdmi connect at the notification area, then turn it on. this is what i read on the gfan chinese forum, and it work for me.

Thanks Bro. I will definitely try this out. Previously with honeycomb, it was working perfectly. After flashing with ICS, i encountered this problem.

I tried out your method yesterday, same thing, nothing happens. Still can hear cracking sound and no display on the TV. The TV detects as connected to a 1080p 60hz device but nothing appears. Now I don't know which is faulty, the TV or the mediapad. I don't have other hdmi device to test with the TV.:s22:

Thanks for the advise.
