My gf wanted a new wallet. She specified she didn't want the "evo" effect as we call it, so I thought I'd use the oil tan burgundy that I have.

But she also said she wants clean burnished edges, so I finally I dug out this italian calf veg tan that I've been keeping. It has been plated at the factory with a coating of leather lacquer, so less fears of aging or staining. Yet, being veg tan, I can still burnish the edges. It also has a very luxurious feel to it.

Nothing new to the design of this wallet, but this is the first time I am doing something with this leather. Very nice to work with I'd say.

Dear leather experts, is there such a thing as 7 different hand polished leather treatments or something like that? I saw a nice leather bag and it is pretty well polished but price wise is a lot more.

Sorry, I don't have a catalog. I do this only in free time, and plus I am crafting them fully by hand, so cannot produce so much to build a catalog yet.

The scariest phrase a home based artist can hear is "minimum order quantity"

Sold my bike, 3 goldfish and a pristine collection of Enid Blyton story books to buy these.

Actually, what I can do can be potentially limited by many things:

- tools available (though less of it nowadays, as I've been constantly acquiring tools)

- materials (also less of it nowadays)

- skill (sometimes I have to redo a wallet 2-3 times before I can get it right, but if I have to do it, I will do it at my cost)

- Customer budget (this is the most limiting factor)
