it means we can make belts for waist 25" to waist 42".

Here is how it goes, for belt sizes, they are measured from buckle prong (the metal pin) to the center hole (usually, 5 holes, so center hole is 3rd hole).
A size 31 belt will have a length of 31 inches from buckle prong to center hole. Of cos, it will fit a true waist line of 31".
Because we provide alot of belts for denimheads, we will also check what type of denim/jeans you are wearing, as different denims have different ounces.

Regarding belt, dun get fool by those charts and measurement.... the belt size also depends on the denim ounce.

What jeans you wear might be different in size of the belt measurement.
