nope, have right tools will do the job.

depends on your concho also, some are screws, some uses rivet.

The natural colour one was 90-something sgd including shipping and paypal fees. Its made from 15oz oak bark tanned leather. Oak bark tanning is a supposedly superior tanning process that involves 12 months of processing in the tannery. Terry (the craftsman) usually does not buy such thick oak bark tanned hides to make belts, but a group of sufu peeps banded together to persuade him to do so and make belts for us. Apparently its a one time thing and Terry only bought one sheet of hide so i'm not sure if you can still get it from him. Theres quite a queue going on at the moment. You can read more about it in the belt thread at sufu.

The other one is 9-10 oz veg tanned, dyed in mahogany. After shipping and paypal fees around 55+. I'm actually selling it because I might want to get something else from Terry so if anyone is interested feel free to pm me yeah

What made is the shoe?What type of leather?

Most high end shoes are made of cordovan, lambskin or horween leather. Some even uses exotics hides like lizard crocs or snake.

for the leather soles, normally i suggest to add a similar color crepe sole from any cobbler shop before wearing, so the shoe can last longer, but i do know some people prefer to use leather solo.

Different leather you can use specific products for treatment, a mink oil can do the job with a brush for all leather. But you can also invest into water proof coating.

Maybe you should look at travel wallets, more specific and compartment to hold foreign money and trains tickets.
