guys, ask u all.

is there any product which works like mink oil, protect and give the leather a gd protection, BUT not darkening it???

is for my gf. She bought a pair of grey leather boots, which is claimed by the owner as lamb leather. The surface is washed de, so there is texture all ard.
She tried my mink oil in a corner of the show, it darkens the surface which she doesnt like.

Wow, good buy.

Water shield is normally good for nubark and suede, and is use for leather trench coat, is it a spray form? read more 1st before you apply on any leather, it might create a layer and prevent aging or breaking in.

^ thanks for the heads up scasi. Yes it is a spray form. Any difference with those non-spray ones?

Yup i will try it on a small patch to see how it goes first. The reason i get that also because it can be used on non-leather goods also

Visionary! post your latest pics!
I saw it couple of hours ago, was surprise it turn out really well especially when the denim bleeding contrast with the red color. The patina form is amazing.

I think handmade wallets is really nothing, it the user that create the statement out of them, giving it a character.

Ixac, post details pics of yours, inside out with the crease below that you have sit, should be interesting on how a black leather age too.

The evolution isnt big, just some small compressed here and there. I guess thats the "prob" of black leather?

i did try snapping a few times before, wanted to share here. But somehow my digicam too crap to capture real pics. It cant seem to capture the little details.
The more obvious change will be the bending curve of it.
and its so hard to explain in words... :S

I show u next wk when i collect my denim.
