Indigo bleeds from flathead 1001, had it for around 4months and oiled once!

The red leather is indeed surprising. I was really skeptical about red leather that Scasi always brings in, but Visionaryz's is definitely sibey swee!
It looks like the brighter version of Red Wing's russet models aged with time....
6 months usage, I assume, and I'm looking forward for more of this piece.

some pics of my freshly LP-ed belt. (some traces of excess LP still can be seen)

The LP smells kind of funkier than mink oil. smells like the streets of taiwan street hawkers (smelly tofu + choked sewages)

mikeeey did you apply alot? I just gave mine a very very thin coating of mink oil.

Like using the finger to brush through very fast.

The belt absorbed it within minutes. Should i mink more? Will another coat or too much mink oil ruin the belt?

i didnt use mink oil for this belt.

1 coat first, then i use hairdryer to blow it a little, then 2nd coat... should be enough for now

mink oil too much also no good.

That's strange. I've just use LP on my bag and boots 2 days ago, I find it smell of sweet honey. The smell lingers in my room for abt 2 days.

Think mine is light yellowish. Not to the extend of greenish. Think u better check with where u bought it from. If u search online, it's suppose to have a mild honey smell

Bought mine from the website directly. Hmm.
