very nice! is the key thing made to attach to a belt? how does the key attach to it?

Just simple loop, rivet. Then slide key ring on. Actually can't call this a key pouch.

I made a hair on hide (brown fur) proper key pouch for myself some time back. But I found it too bulky swinging around when I walk.

But if I just hang the keys by itself, it make alot of noise. So I made this mini version just to wrap around prevent the noise.

I added a open pic to the photo set, just go back to the same link and have a look.

Really innovative of scasi ! Gave him a simple beads design and he make it into something even nicer imo.

Actual colour. (is much lighter but shadow make it darker and that is the best i can take with my conventional digital camera D: )

8oz thick and nice leather smell :X the only thing that bothers slightly me is slight blue marked ink at the suede lines (can be seen at pic 2). I'm always more picky on new stuffs :X anyway great product from them again !

hello!, sorry the blue ink is actually the marking of the leather, mentioning the color code and size. Normally when i see such details, i will purposely use it, like i use for nudiefive Air Force 1 wallet, which is cut out marking

if you wish a plain piece, i can replace them.

er i pm-ed scasi the design and asked about the details :D

u designed all the details by yourself or u gave scasi some pics to implement?

Coz i thinking to get the OGL team to help me craft something for my family car key.

looks like some oil its needed~

u referring to the behind side?
if yes, actually they been applied with mink-oil once and absorb le. Strangely, i noticed the denim that was worn with the belt, the belt area feels abit waxy, as if the mink oil has been "transferred" to the denim.

does it mean i need to reoil again le???

i found some basic designs online. then asked about the specs giving him my key measurements etc. then he replied telling me the rough estimated size of the keyholder and the leather they going to use.

Over the next 6 months or so, my aim was actually to build up a catalog of stuff, and then engage my friend to take some professional photos for me. But one thing lead to another and I haven't been able to actually settle down and start.

Finally, over the CNY period, I was able to start on my first project which I intend to make as a ready-to-buy item. A Japanese-style chunky thick mid wallet.

All went well and just as I was about to wrap it up, I itchy backside and decided to wet mold the wallet with notes and cards inside, so that it will be ready to use out of the box.

This is the first time I am wet molding this US Hermann Oak veg tan and I didn't realise how dark the tannins are in the leather. Ended up, the wallet EVO-ed on me! ****!

I suppose some people will scratch their heads and wonder what the fuss is all about. Afterall, everyone oil and tan their wallets first thing they get it. And the evo-look is a desirable thing.

That may be true, but I just can't have it in a item meant for photo shot as the evo colour varies from one to another, and having it in the catalog means I have to replicate exactly the same for every order or risk complain.

And the dark coffee colour tannin also streak alittle in those obscure unnoticeable areas. (see those circled areas)

I've attached a work in progress pic to show what the original colour is.

Damn it, now I have to do another one. ****!!!

use beeswax obtain a darker shade, even out the tone. I believe a lot of leather lover here will not mind a good work!

camera side, set the aperture larger, get more lights can lighter it. Hope it helps!

Thanks Scasi. But even if I can manipulate the pictures to show a lighter tone, eventually if someone wants to buy it, I still have to make another one. (so what he sees is what he gets)

Might as well make now.. sigh.. But thanks anyway!
