Nexus 4 sold about 400k units if not because of out of stock, it could hit even higher numbers.

usually google produced phones don't have any accessories support one. cause the stocks are pretty limited with no coverage from any telcos.

so u might wanna try ebay.

Thanks for your reply.

SGP website says they do make screen protectors for the N4. The problem is I hope to get it in SG so that the shop can stick for me.

Nexus phone series impression

after 2 weeks plus of Usage. I am very happy with the Nexus 4. Before getting one on hand, the most worrying thing is battery performance based on hear/say

With my usage pattern, the battery performance is about on par with Galaxy Nexus.. the longest time the phone ever last was 46 hours with 2 hours Display ON time. On average..my phone can last around 32-36 hours..that is good enough for me.

I have yet to charge my phone with the ship with Charger..I find the phone could accept much higher charge with higher charge capability charger.

I am charging my phone with the Nexus One charger (1.5A) most of the time and occasionally with Nexus 7 charger(the fastest) when in a hurry to go out..30min charge can pump up to 40-50% charge !! full charge definitely with less than 2 hours however worrying to spoilt the phone with frequent high charging current usage

Among the Nexus series phone, Nexus-S has the slowest charging time (3 hours at minimum) regardless of what charger you use..checking carefully on the ship with charger..it is only rated at 700mA. Nexus One is the champion(less than an hour for close to full charge). Galaxy Nexus( 140min) hours).

In term of wow factor..Nexus-S was the worst with relative comparison to other phones introduced around the same period of time.

Initially i didnt find it much faster than Galaxy Nexus on home navigation and App launch..however using it for long time with more taxing task..I started to see the performance gap much more.

For the Color reproduction. I like the White background ,the text display is sharper and crisper comparing to the Galaxy Nexus.

For photo taking, it is just like the Galaxy Nexus, easy to use to take good picture with the zero lag shutter, the photo output is definitely more wash out compare to Samsung phones. I am more keen on how easy to take good picture by fast clicking on the shutter without blur out of focus problem. (Example, I could take F1 moving car with sharp focus which point and shoot camera could not make it).

For Browser, I like the Jelly Bean mobile browser more..i missed the double tapping to auto text fitting on the screen with custom zoom level. I find this is best suited for people with eye sight problem. The predefined zoom level sometimes just not working well for everyone. Some may argue ,double tapping with text reflow according to custom zone level difficult to use but it just work rather than seeing text with zig zag orientation..

Why Chrome doesnt support that.. that is also the reason that I hate Samsung mobile browser that forever can not do text fitting with custom zoom level. Yes yes yes, boat browser, dolphin still can do the work but I like it to be in the standard build.

One interesting finding..phones with 5inch screen dont require text reflow and the screen size is enough to display full text within the screen width..at least this is what i find out from the old Samsung note phone.

Nope... not on mine. Only time it restarts is when I restart it.
I do experience sometimes the screen flickers. but thats due to the auto brightness. when i turn it off, it doesn't anymore.
