I also got sometimes intermittent connection issues. phone says its connected with H but when you browse the net, there's nothing.
But it's hard to determine if its starhub's problem or the phone's problem...
maybe changing to an actual micro sim card might help?

I thought that was the issue too so went to get a brand new micro sim from Starhub. It did not resolve the issue. There's definitely compatibility issue on 3G between N4 and Starhub's network unfortunately.

ya, I've been charging my phone for few hrs and its warm with my case on.. I also wonder the same thing..

it doesn't happen with other phone with casing on.. =_=

As far as we like to protect or nexus 4, it's unavoidable that the phone heats up easily.. I myself use a bumper n apply screen protector on the back n front of the screen... Bumper should won't trap heat after all..

doubt so but rather starhub's issue since i am on s3 lte and note 2 lte. i get the same problem as mentioned by you guys and solved it by setting to airplane mode and back.

this somewhats reset the connection in a way, try and see if that helps!

Any 3-pin plug with USB outlet would do just fine.

Check out any mobile phone shops, electronic stores and even Apple shops.

Any USB charger but advise to get those high current charging capacity type to speed up charging.

Please take note that those cheapo USB charger may not conform to the USB AC charging mode and resulted in maX 500mA.

Pure AC Charging mode. Pin D+ and D- are both shorted together. I mean you can DIY to short these 2 pins over at the charger side to inform Phone that the Charging source is indeed AC charger not from Data USB Port...

No probs, hope u are enjoying the phone as much as I do. Been using the phone for close to a month already, so far no problem. Battery life is good, UI is very fluid. I'm a starhub user too, but didn't encounter those problems mentioned in the previous posts.

but i suspect those using normal sim but cut into micro won't work well also. i got to go down m1 and change into a micro to get my phone work.

Is your SIM module ( The metallic section) those longer type. What I find out was SIM with module with long pad -overall module longer than the standard size will have problem.

I have Sim card puncher , punch out 3 Mini SIM..Singtel/Maxis Postpaid card work well but one HotLink prepaid is not working..and the module itself are those super long module.

Question: Is Google bundle all phones into a Single Box ? Tell me the dimension of the box, if so,how much is the courier charges.


Hesitating to bring in the 4 units of phones that Friend help to purchase,credit card charged..it meant phones should be on the way to Friend's house.

Going to be more costly..USA state tax+ extra Courier service to Singapore+ GST..

Reject delivery or ship back to sell 2 units out..

Actually for me, batt life still sucks after using the phone for 2 weeks. 100% to 10% in 11-13 hours depending on usage (roughly 3hr screentime). If I don't charge the phone in office and I go out for dinner, confirm the phone will be dead before I reach home.

Google bundles the two phones into a single box. Dimension-wise can't remember, but it is quite small. I shipped via comgateway, I think about S$70 including shipping, GST and insurance.

If you sell it here for cost plus $20 for expenses, I'm sure you'll be able to sell it.
