Saw a thread in xda forums. Apparently the back of nexus 4 is too smooth. Putting a matte screen protector on the back should solve the problem.

Hi there,

would like to know if anyone is still facing any issues with N4 on starhub ? as in stock unrooted 4.2.2?

Oops sorry, i think i should rephrase. I mean does anyone using N4 on starhub experience drop signals or data drop etc on stock unrooted 4.2.2?

Your feedback is much appreciated.

from what I know it is a known issue with not just starhub. It is the phone's problem not Starhub. I forgotten if stock kernel 4.2.2 had that problem though....

Anyway guys I just went to the LG service centre. The people there said they did not receive instructions about Nexus 4. They said if service, it would be counted as exported set and no warranty. They didn't know the before 25 Dec thing. They would be checking out for me and will call me.

Counted as export set means can still send in for repairs/servicing ? just that you have to pay for it ?

Nothing happen. Over the few months of using, the power button just seem to get less sensitive. Annoying that you have to press multiple times to get the phone to wake/sleep. When I want to power off my phone, it is unable to tell the different between pressing the power button and holding down the power button so it went to sleep instead....Zzzzz I didn't drop my phone at all.

I downloaded this app called Smart Screen ON. It's free..lets u use the proximity sensor to turn your phone off/on. Just wave your finger over the sensor will do.

Hopefully will keep that power button in better condition.

I used screen off and lock. Works pretty gud. Cuts the use of power button to almost half. That way it will not get abused.

thanks bro for recommending that. but most of the time, i only use the power button to wake up the screen.
