Thanks for the help savage and expositox I guess I WILL SURVIVE WITHOUT MY POWER BUTTON hahaha. BTW what kernel are you guys using? I'm using Franco and I don't think the battery life is as good as they say.. In fact I'm quite disappointed with nexus 4 battery life :(

And one final thing where to get cheap cheap screen protector for nexus 4 I using the factory one never peel off LOL my nexus 4 looks damn jialat must buy screen protector.

I using panaroid rom. i never change kernel... have decent battery life. can last a day.

Some ROMs allow a custom button to boot into recovery, there's this app that allows you to flash ROMs from the app also, forgot what's it called :s22:

or you can download terminal emulator,

type "su", to give superuser permission
type "reboot", to reboot
or type "reboot bootloader", to reboot to bootloader
or type "reboot recovery", to reboot to recovery

just flash cwm touch so u can navigate my touchscreen on recovery mode.

my power button is also not responsive, have to press hard then can.
i use vol button and this way to solve my power button issue

guys...enable debugging in phone, connect to pc, install adb...then just do 'adb reboot recovery' and u r in recovery, no need fiddle with buttons.

Except that having to find a PC, install usb drivers for your device, run cmd, navigate to the folder where adb resides, then execute the command.

Install terminal app and run, all on device, lagi faster. :D

for those impatient (like me) to wait for OTA...just manual load to 4.3 using the factory images that google provided....already loaded them on my n4 and gnex, next to do is my n7 and n10 when i get home..

i think most ppl will be at their pc when they are trying to upgrade... :p

Better be clear hor....otherwise people will whack u for totally wiping out their devices with these factory images. :D
