managed to get it done after disabling location service.

Rooting isn't the problem for OTA. It's messing around after rooting that might make it not work.

Since updated to 4.3, I perceive my power button requires higher pressure to wake up my N4. Anyone else?

I really doubt an OS update can create a new hardware feature.

You can say it takes longer to wake up the N4 after the update, but I'm pretty sure there's no pressure sensing feature in the power button.

You can always rma the phone. It cost only 36 dollars and less than 2 weeks for a new phone to return to youm
